We bid farewell to James Allen Ward Sr. of Crossett, Arkansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 10, 2024 at the age of 85. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Grady Ward and Lucille Pepper Ward; his granddaughter JoAnna Ward; and his brothers-in-law, Kimbro and Bobby Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Ward; his sons, Allen Ward (Lois) and Dewey Ward (Ila); his stepdaughter Pam Kannard (Steve) of Crossett; his sisters, Barbara Price (Darryl) of Tampa, FL and Sharron Ray of Tampa, FL; and his grandchildren, Tia Smith, Kiri Griffith, Aaron Smith, Keyla Castleberry, Jacob Ward, Jaci Ward and Bradley Murphy. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the James and Kathleen Ward's Home (154 Malloy St, Crossett, AR 71635). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the North Crossett First Baptist Church (1035 AR-133, Crossett, AR 71635). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at the Pinewood Memorial Park.
