It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Smith of Crossett, Arkansas, who passed away on September 28, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Napoleon Smith and Elizabeth Pippen; his children, James Smith, Jr., Ricky Smith and Penelope Smith; his grandchildren, Christopher Duke and Brittney Williams; his great grandchild Kylian Goree; and his brother Thomas Smith.
He is survived by: his sisters, Betty Joe Smith, Yvonne Lewis, Jacqueline Lindsey and Marion Jones; his children, Lee Archy Gilliam and Gregory Smith of Crossett, AR; and his siblings, Jerlin Bunton and Napoleon Smith, Jr. of Monroe, LA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
