He was predeceased by: his father Fred Hipp, Sr.; and his brother Herbie Hipp. He is survived by: his wife Luz Hipp of Crossett; his daughters, Aileen Hernandez (Carlos) of Crossett, Aliyah Hipp of Fayetteville, AR, Silvia Brown of Hamburg and Grettel Torres of Veracruz, Mexico; his mother Pamela J. Hipp; his brothers, Howard Hipp of Crossett and Fred Hipp Jr. (Jeanne) of Crossett; his grandchildren, Aubrielle, Archer and Abdiel Hernandez; and his godchildren, Manuel Chavez, Jr., Javier Olivares and Haylee Chavez. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Medders Funeral Home of Crossett (1564 State Hwy 52 W, Crossett, AR 71635). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (2400 S Main St, Crossett, AR 71635). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Crossroads Cemetery.
