He was predeceased by: his daughter Loretta Lum; his parents, John Wesley and Eva Lillie Hebert Lum; his brother Hugh Lum; and his brother-in-law Timothy Reed.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Reed Lum; his children, Matthew Lum and Christina Lum Martin; his siblings, Phillip Lum "Kaye" Crossett, Douglas Lum, Carolyn Givens of Crossett, Janette Fish of Crossett, Hilda Hebert "Harold" of Crossett and Hazel; and his grandchildren, Wesley Lum and Madison Bullard.
