With profound sadness, we say goodbye to George Fife of Crossett, Arkansas, born in Strong, Arkansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. George left this world on February 27, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lee and Lou Ellen Agerton Fife; his siblings, James "Buddy" Fife and Ethyle Fife Jones; and his great grandchild Thed Hollis.
He is survived by: his daughter Sandra Norrell (Dale) of Hamburg; his grandson Gary Fife (Melissa) of Crossett; his sisters, Mavis Love of Mountain Home, AR, June Noble of Crossett and Bobbye Kay Childers (Jewell Wayne) of Crossett; his brothers-in-law, George Yelvington of Ireland and Bill Gates of Arizona; his grandchildren, Daniel Norrell, Nicki Hollis (Bryan) and Logan Fife (Allison); and his great grandchildren, Eli Hollis and Rosalee Hollis.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Second Baptist Church of Crossett (3114 Hwy 278 S, Crossett, AR 71635). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at the Crossroads Cemetery.
