It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Floyd Ira Griffis of Crossett, Arkansas, who passed away on June 19, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, JC Griffis and Pearl Morgan Griffis; and his siblings, Connie Scroggins, Margie Gardner, Francis Frisby and Charlie Griffis.
He is survived by: his wife Vela Keen Griffis of Crossett; his daughter Barbara Cooper (Keith) of Crossett; his stepson Phillip Griffis of Texarkana, TX; and his brothers, Joe Griffis (Nelda) of Kerrville, TX, Jackie Griffis (Shirley) of Cove, TX and Pete Griffis (Dawn) of Crossett. He is also survived by three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
