He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Danzy and Ileen Thomas Danzy; and his siblings, Leroy, Eddie, Robert, Willie, Steve, Hubert Danzy, Emma Burdett, Ola Moore, Ernestine Gales, Nancy Williams and Verleen Matheney.
He is survived by: his wife Aretha Walker Danzy of Crossett; his children, Robbie Clay of Sherwood, Lisa Danzy Henderson (Rodney) of Crossett, Carol Campbell (Derrick) of Crossett, Andrea Smith of Crossett, Ellis Raynard Danzy of Tulsa, OK and Edrik R. Danzy of Crossett; his siblings, Samuel Charles Danzy (Rowena) of Ohio, James Danzy (Shirley) of Dermott, Margaret Richmond of Little Rock, Shirley Williams of Conway, Jewel Smith (Charles) of Nevada and Linda Page (John) of Dermott; his grandchildren, Derius Campbell, Cierra Campbell, Alia Childress, Alesia Clay, Kaseem Smith Jr., Jaylen Spicer, Kendyl Smith, Jared Henderson, Amahri Henderson, Braylen Danzy, Lailah Danzy and Trinity Danzy; and his goddaughter Rhoda Cooper Rogers. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Holy Temple Church of God in Christ in Monticello.
