He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Marie Gober-Ricks; his parents, Jesse Marvin Ricks and Nettie Green Necessary of Virginia; and his sisters, Elizabeth Ann Ricks and Linda Dianne Ricks.
He is survived by: his daughter Vickie Holland (Nick) of Hamburg; his siblings, Ronald Ricks (Bonnie), Derral Ricks (Chris) of Montrose, AR. and Shelia White (Frankie) of Montrose; and his granddaughters, Harley and Jozie Holland. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
