He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wheless and Myrtle Morgan Wheless; his siblings, Tommy Wheless and Mary Jewell; and his daughter Nejeana Palmer.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Wheless; his daughters, Candance Almond of Pueblo, CO, Deana Wright (Drew) of Crossett, Nikki Barnett (Mark) of Crossett and Marilyn Maranto of Shreveport, LA; and his sister Sharon Wheless of Shreveport, LA. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church (129 Ashley Rd #25, Hamburg, AR 71646). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
