It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cora Sue Bays of Crossett, Arkansas, who passed away on February 22, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Elmer Denson, Sr. and Zenobia Kate Crisp; her husband Kenneth W. Bays; her siblings, Frank Elmer Denson, Jr., John Crisp Denson and Eleanor Farmer; her children-in-law, Richard S. Jones III and Kathy Bays; and her brothers-in-law, John Earl Bays, Charles "Mitch" Bays, Stovall Farmer and James "Pete" Woods.
She is survived by: her children, Steven W. Bays (Tamara) of Searcy, Arkansas, Lisa B. Jones of Crossett and Jennifer B. Walker (Michael) of Star City, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Richard S. Jones IV (Audrey), Katie Barnes (Britt), Jason Bays (Heather), Emily Smith (Kameron), Abby Bristow (Pierce) and Caleb Walker; her great grandchildren, Jack, Ella, Winnie, Britton, Magnolia and Olivia; her sister Nancy Woods; and her sister-in-law Evelyn Bays.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be made to First United Methodist Church of Crossett, 500 Main Street, Crossett, AR 71635.
