It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Gene Johnson of Crossett, Arkansas, who passed away on April 16, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Rastus and Cora Elizabeth Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Sue Hobbs Johnson; his children, Vondra Miller (Jeff) of Neosho, MO, Chandra Schlesier (Craig) of Crossett, AR and Barry Johnson (Debbie) of Crossett, AR; his sisters, Jean Ballard of Crossett, AR, Tina Burt of Crossett, AR, Norma Hamm of Crossett, AR and Sally Tomblin of Crossett, AR; his grandchildren, Drew Miller (Jordan), Stephanie Miller Wellesley (Derrick), Haleigh Schlesier, Ashleigh Schlesier Ward (Cameron), Kylee Johnson, Karlee Johnson, Skylen Johnson and Cayden White; and his great grandchildren, Maggie, Liam, Hallie, Cooper, Luke, Mollie, Karter and Lee.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Arkadelphia Cemetery.
