She was predeceased by: her husband Eddie Ray Hughes; and her parents, Doyle Cecil and Daisy Ray Phillips. She is survived by: her children, Matt Hughes and Christie Hughes Rice (Michael) of Crossett; her brother Doye Wayne Phillips (Ruth) of Centerpoint; her grandchildren, McKinley Nix (Rob), Hope Hughes, Camryn Hughes, Hannah Eyman (Jordan), Nicholas Rice and Caroline Hawkes (Ben); and her great grandchildren, Arthur Nix, Shepherd Nix, Hank Eyman, Aaron Eyman and Lilah Hawkes.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home (302 E Lincoln St, Hamburg, AR 71646). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the South Crossett Missionary Baptist Church (2201 S Main St, Crossett, AR 71635). A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at the Hickory Grove Cemetery.
