He was predeceased by: his daughter Janice Lynn Butler; his wife Mary Jo Butler (Counts); his sisters, Mona Rae Marsden (Butler), Nelda Leon (Butler) and Mabeth Johnson (Butler); and also James Kenton "Kenny" Musick.
He is survived by: his siblings, Marshia Popplewell (Butler) of Sherman, TX, Renee Wade (Dennis) of Sherman, TX and Bobby Butler (Linda) of Shreveport, LA.; his daughter Cathy Anne Gilbert-Gestes (Butler) of Oklahoma City; his grandchildren, Amber Gilbert and Ryan Stellwagon of Oklahoma City; his daughters, Brooke Kottman (Jeremy) and Barbara Ann Butler of Coweta; his grandchildren, Kris Dodson, Jennifer Barton and Renee McBay; his daughter Pat O'Brien (Mike) of Mustang, OK; his grandsons, John O'Brien of Mustang, OK and James O'Brien; and his great grandchild Amy Lucas (Daniel). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
