It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Pate (Cove, Arkansas), born in Langley, Arkansas, who passed away on December 13, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Albert Porter and Anna Hill Porter; her husband Dellas Pate; her daughter Judy Pate Yates; and her siblings, Henry Porter and Esperence Risner.
She is survived by: her uncle Bill Pate; her grandchild Midge; her sisters-in-law, Modema Smedley and Sodola Griffith of Cove; her close friends, Kim Parks and Helen Buxton; and her nephews, Gene Porter, Donald Porter, Keith Risner, Ricky Griffith and Troy Dickison. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, Midge requested memorial offerings be given to Pleasant Grove Cemetery Fund in C/O, Greg Ricks 160 East Barton, Cove, Arkansas 71937.
