It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathryn Winfield of Cove, Arkansas, who passed away on May 1, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mothers, Louella Dovie Gordon Toon and Crystal Toon; her siblings-in-law, Linda Toon and Eddie Long; her niece Kayla Long Phillips; her nephew Doug Long; and her children-in-law, Marcie Winfield and Oso Sanchez.
She is survived by: her husband Merle; her children, Christopher Winfield (Norma) of Lancaster, Tonyia Winfield Nichols (Billy) of Cove, Sonyia Winfield-Hoek (Bill) of Cove, Karen Parnell (Donnie) of Cove and Debra Cooper (Eldon) of Mountain Home; her grandchildren, Gigi Reyes, Jessica Hammond, John Hammond, Bridgette Hams, Brianna Starr, Zach Winfield, Paige Najera, Amy Muniz, April Guthrey, James Jacobs, Elaine Lenard, Ridge Elmore and Quist Elmore; her great grandchildren, Aidan Winfield, Gabriel Winfield, Skyler King, Kashlynn Starr, Thomas Hams, Christopher Hams, Summer Hams, Sabrina Hams, Nicolo Cruz, Christian Jacobs, Ryker Jacobs, Adeline Strother, Presley Lenard, Everett Elmore and Juniper Elmore; and her siblings, Wade Toon (Chiquita) of Smithville and Wanda Long of Denton. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In keeping with her love for children and spreading the Holy Word of God, Kathy requested in lieu of flowers or plants, a donation be made to The Baptist Boys' Ranch or to The Gideons International. Donations are being received through the Vandervoort First Baptist Church and being forwarded to the requested organization.
