He is survived by: his wife Carrie Smith of Cove, Arkansas; his children, Jim Smith Jr. (Sara) of Mena, James Smith (Tracy) of Hatton, Arkansas and Melissa Self (David) of Wickes, Arkansas; his sisters, Jennifer Kesterson, Netlla Cureton, Elizabeth Davis and Regina Foster; and his grandchildren, Levi Self (Lexy), Jesse Self, Ciara Self, Brian Smith, Abigail Smith, Bo Smith, Corey Smith and Christie Smith. He is also survived by other relatives and dear friends.
