It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Gesell Carr of Cotter, Arkansas, born in Bloomington, Illinois, who passed away on October 5, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Gesell and Gretchen Ross Gesell; her brother Wally Gesell; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn Carr Aldridge and Matthew Carr.
She is survived by: her husband Ben Carr of Cotter, Arkansas; her children, Glenn Carr (Martha) of Counce, Michael Carr (Kelly) of Hagerstown, Maryland, Patricia Miller (Ed) of Hernando and Sheri Grear (Don) of Memphis, Tennessee; and her sister Judy Jaros (Bill) of Hobe Sound, Florida. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
The family requests memorial donations be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
