We bid farewell to Norma Cherry of Corning, Arkansas, born in Reyno, Arkansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 14, 2025 at the age of 93. Norma touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Norma may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Norma touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Niles Cherry; her parents, Clarence Edington and Rosie Mae Edington (Barclift); and her siblings, Donnie, Jerry Edington and Hassell Scott.
She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Crowson (Joe) of Jonesboro; her grandchild Cherry Brooke Kellett (Jonathon); her great grandchildren, Isabella Bobbitt and Paxton Kellett; and her sister Shelby Steimel of Pocahontas. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ermert Funeral Home, Inc. (1000 W Elm St, Corning, AR 72422). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at the Nelson Cemetery.
