She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Brooks and Nellie "Kerr" Brooks. She is survived by: her children, T. Karen Leonard, Paula Garrett (Richard), Lawana Breece (Tracy), Wesley Rogers, Darrell Rogers, Makesha Vollmer (James), Equawn Lane and Jarred Rogers; her grandchildren, Joshua Hyde, Sarah Lamb, Monica Stadler, Mathew Garrett, Jessica Wright, Jennifer Redmon, Ashley Arnold, Steven Rogers, Ryan Rogers, Eric Rogers, Dylan Rogers, Madalyn Vollmer, Miles Vollmer, Mia Vollmer, Derrick Lane, Chad Lane, Fallon Lane, Montana Rogers, Micheal Rogers and Jase Rogers; her half-sisters, Brenda Shelton and Linda Fortner; her brother Johnny Brooks; and her half-brother Charles Brooks. She is also survived by twenty two great grandchildren.
