With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen Easterwood of Corning, Arkansas, born in Knobel, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 2, 2024 at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her husband Bradley Easterwood; her parents, William "Bill" Phelan and Eathel Charity Phelan (Gleghorn); her siblings, Jack, Bob, Billie Phelan, Hilda Cochran, Doris Shephard and JoAnn Kammerman; and her son-in-law Dr. Huey Tewis.
She is survived by: her children, Betty L. Adams of House Springs, MO., Linda L. Tewis of Cape Girardeau, MO., Brenda D. Morrison (Jack) of House Springs, MO. and Bradley H. Easterwood, Jr. of Corning, AR.; and her sisters, Virginia Brumfield of Corning, AR., Wilma Bauschlicher of Corning, AR. and Dorothy Gerber of Poplar Bluff, MO.. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
