She was predeceased by: her husband Charles "Pop" Sims; her mother Bertha Nipper; her sister Wilma Howe; and her brother-in-law Donald Howe. She is survived by: her daughter Leigh Smith (Terry) of Corning; her grandchildren, Natalie Bolden (Jonathan) and Brantley Smith; her great grandchild Maci Bolden; her sister Dorothy Brown (Ronnie); her nephew Donnie Howe (Janet); and her great-nieces, DaRae Roberts (Ronnie), Ainsley and Adley.
