It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Smith of Corning, Arkansas, born in Pollard, Arkansas, who passed away on April 20, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Smith and Christine Smith (Karnes); and his sister Dorothy Householder. He is survived by: his wife Linda S. Smith (Burkheart); his sons, Charles Smith (Ladona) of Conway, AR., Jeff Smith (Leslie) of Murfreesboro, TN. and Justin Smith (Bettina) of Lexington, TN.; his siblings, Glen Smith (Gloria) of Saint Francis, AR., Jimmy Smith (Lynda) of Saint Francis, AR., Paula Holcomb (Dewey) of Piggott, AR. and Shirleen Howell (Jimmy) of Corning, AR.; and his grandchildren, Bryce James, Bryant Alexander, Caleb Harold Smith, Mackenzie Reagan Baker, Steven Vander and Cody Tyler Johnson. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
