He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Marie Turner; his son Richard Kevin Hayes; his parents, Allen H. Banks and Ettie Banks (Bryan); and his brother Dennis Banks.
He is survived by: his daughter Annah Banks-Mullen (Mark) of West Plains, MO; his sister Bonnie Pierce of Corning; and his grandchildren, Merris and Cawyer.
