He was predeceased by: his parents, Avery Pierce Kennedy and Lena Kennedy (Sanders); his daughter Jennifer Kennedy; and his siblings, Bernice Richey, Verna Faye Latting, Evelyn Lance, Elbert, Delbert and Joe Kennedy.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Etta Kennedy (Chaudoin); his daughter Ashley Holmes (Kevin) of Jonesboro; his grandchildren, Kennedy Garland (Logan) and Kathryn Holmes; and his stepson Shane Battles of Cave City. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
