He was predeceased by: his parents, Avery P. Kennedy and Lena Sanders Kennedy; his sons, David Keith Kennedy and Scott Alan Kennedy; and his siblings, Joe Kennedy, Pete Kennedy, Bernice Richey, Evelyn Lance and Verna Faye Latting.
He is survived by: his wife Velda Mae Parr Kennedy; his daughters, Pam Gipson (Denny) of Cord, Paula Osborne (Chuck) of Cord and Teresa Milligan (Jeff) of Newark; his brother George Kennedy (Caroletta) of Cord; his grandchildren, Amber Davis (Jeffie), Adam Gipson (Torie), Charley Osborne, Amy Allison (Andrew), Hannah Evans (Brandon) and Elliott Milligan; and his great grandchildren, Cambry Davis, Kendy Davis, Presley Gipson, Isaac Allison and Peyton Gipson. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
