She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Enoch Sandefur and Hannah Myrtle Gray Sandefur; her husband B. F. Cooper; her son Dewaine Cooper; and her siblings, Bennie Sandefur, Carl Sandefur, Jr., Mona Bridges, Norma Womack, Royce South, Charolette Michelle, Joy Huskey, Jean Day and Ann Gabrielson.

She is survived by: her daughters, Trina Kervin (Karl) and Tonya Brakebill (Mike); her sisters, Lou Cook and Connie Hiroo; and her grandchildren, Nicole Wescott, Mechelle Cargile, Daniel Brakebill and Tiffany Hammer (Philip). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews.
