He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Tipton and Idas Tipton (Matthews); his wife Bobbie Jean Tipton; his sisters, Betty Webb, Bennie Mendenhall and Dorothy Armstrong; his great grandchild Ryan Mahan; and his sons-in-law, John Acklin and David Cullum.
He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Cullum, Pam Acklin and Lynn Tipton (Judy) of Conway; and his grandchildren, Cherie (Ricky), Tanya (David), Jerry Lynn (Lori), Jenny (Jake), Dustin, April (Adrian), Ashley, Jeremy (Trish), Elizabeth (Steven), Sarah and Jessica. He is also survived by 36 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews.
