He was predeceased by: his parents, Ella Elliott and Elmer Elliott. He is survived by: his siblings, Ula, Bula, Bessy, Dixie, Agnes and Willamae; his nieces and nephews, Trinadell and Tommy; his wife Donna Elliott; and his children, Vicki Mills, Kevin Elliott, Paula Rios, Trudy Bird, Jim Bird, Tracey Gregory, Kim Gibson, Samantha Bryant, Ricky Johnston and Erick Johnston. He is also survived by his 24 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
