He was predeceased by: his father Leon Padgett (Shelly Padgett). He is survived by: his mother Jean Johnson Padgett; his children, Alicia Padgett-Brewer (Nick) of Conway and Anthony Padgett (Wendy) of Danville; his siblings, Judy Padgett-Henry (Tavner) of Mt. Vernon and Eugene Padgett (Lisa) of Conway; and his granddaughters, Kara Brewer and Faith Padgett. He is also survived by Friends and many nieces and nephews.
