Shirley Alger Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Alger of Conway, Arkansas, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on December 11, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Max Bessler and Elizabeth M. Keck Bessler; her husbands, William Ellis Alger and Pete William DeGraw; her daughter NaDeen DeGraw Sierra; her grandchildren, Dawn Marie Sierra and Joseph Sierra Jr.; and her sister Rose Montgomery.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judylinn DePover of Davenport, Iowa, Denise Springmeier of Bettendorf, Kathleen Caruthers of Conway and Colleen Holt (Stuart) of Conway. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
