It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Serena Dexter of Conway, Arkansas, born in Greenbrier, Arkansas, who passed away on September 11, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Mattison and Laura Mattison of Honea Path, SC; her great-grandparents, Jerry Kay and Mary Mattison Kay of Honea Path, SC; her grandparents, Joe Collins of Holly Springs, MS and Della Kay Collins Mosley of Conway, AR; her stepmother Ethel Lee Senior of Conway, AR; her siblings, Dorothy Jackson of Conway, AR, Willie Senior (Sonny) of Detroit, MI and James Senior of Los Angeles, CA; her daughters, Debra Lewis and Phyllis Lewis of Conway, AR; her stepson Vincent Dexter of Pensacola, FL; her grandsons, Donnie Newton of Los Angeles, CA, Eddie Miles of Hot Springs, AR and Frankie Cain, Jr. of Conway, AR.; and also, Julius Senior and Essie Collins Senior of Conway, AR.
She is survived by: her husband Johnnie Dexter of Conway, AR; and her children, Juanita Lewis Miles of Hot Springs, AR, Patricia Lewis of Hot Springs, AR, Sterling Lewis, Jr. of Conway, AR, Marcus Lewis of Conway, AR, Janice Lewis of Conway, AR and Anesha Dexter of Conway, AR. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
