He was predeceased by: his parents, Louie Uptain and Grace Uptain; his brothers, Richard, Arthur and Larry; and his granddaughter Lacreaia Ann Marie Uptain.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Uptain of Conway; his children, Dale Uptain of Little Rock, Carl Louie Uptain of Little Rock and Christy Leach of Conway; and his siblings, Tommy Uptain of Conway, Jerry Uptain of Conway, Billy Uptain, Andy Uptain of Alabama and Robin Wideman of Hot Springs, Arkansas. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many extended family and friends.
