He is survived by: his wife Carol; his siblings, Peggy Burchfield (Bob), Raymond (Fibber), McGhee (Janie) and Barbara Sanford (Dwight McGhee); his daughters, Michele Nelson (John), Lainie Spence (Bryan) and Tisha May (David); his grandchildren, Jack Nelson (Emily), Sheffield Garon (Aaron), Joshua May, Georgia Nelson and Jesse May (Eli); and his great grandchild Stella Dawn Hudspeth.
