He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham Hughey and Ruth Rhyne Hughey; and his siblings, Gladys Ruess, Juliet Hughey, Cleveland Hughey, Patrick Hughey and Enos Hughey.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Hughey; his children, Gary (Debbie Hughey), Travis (Lori Hughey), Jeff (Tammy Hughey) and DeAnna Brook; and his stepchildren, Vicky Shoemaker of Conway and Bobby Shoemaker of Conway. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
