He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Patterson and Zubie Patterson; his wife Faye Patterson; his grandson Ben Patterson; his sister Geneva Pounders; and his son-in-law Glenn Loyd.
He is survived by: his children, Doctor Bill Patterson of Conway, Arkansas, Sheila Patterson of Bentonville and Karen Loyd of Osceola, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Michele Baldrige (James) and Will Patterson; his great grandchild Liam Baldrige; and his brother Dexter Patterson (Janice). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
