He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Lasley and Cleo Lasley; his children, Shelly Renee, Max Stephen Jr. and Gary Don; and his grandson Lance Byram.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his daughters, Gayla Evatt (Gary) and Penny Mathis-Davis; and his sister Diana Lasley. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
