She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Louise and Rodney K. Johnson; and her husband Earl F. Rogers. She is survived by: her children, Earl Rogers II (Ruth), Jennifer Pearce and Mary Louise Clifton (Bob); and her close friend Angela Marshall. She is also survived by five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
