She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hampton and Hazel Marie Chandler; and her sister Shirley Carey. She is survived by: her stepmother Hazel Lee Payne Baker; her pet Buffy; her husband Robert D. Carter of Conway; her daughters, Valietta Lohstoeter (Cameron) of Scott and Ann Marie Brockwell (Lance) of Little Rock; her grandchildren, Amy Mathers, Petroff, Taylor Petroff, Timothy Fluharty, Mandy Curtis, Karina, Devin and Ryan Brockwell; and her niece Roxanne DesRochers. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital.
