She was predeceased by: her parents, Garland C. Black and Jettie E. Black; her husband Namon Boyd Diehl; her son Edwin Gale Diehl; her siblings, Opel Owens, Mondene Pruitt, Coga Robinson, Charles, George, James and Omer Black; and her grandson Mitchell Bartlett.
She is survived by: her daughters, Christel Bartlett, Johnnie Diehl and Sandra Nelson; and her grandchildren, Michele Guyot, Terri Williams, Terry Melton, Mark Diehl, Nathan Bartlett, Kenny Beaty, Jennifer Massey, Robin Nelson, Nick Nelson, Cameron Bartlett and Will Wilson. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
