He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arnold Gartner and Marian Gartner (Kuhle); his significant other DeLaine (Hefel); his children, Scott Gartner (Tasha) of Anderson, Wayne Gartner (Kamiel) of Broken Arrow and Jennifer Morrissey (James) of McKinney, Texas; his grandchildren, Joey Grant (Piper), Russell Gartner, Hayden, Brynn Gartner, Jack and Grace Morrissey; his siblings, James Gartner (Ruth) of Banner, Terry Gartner (Doris) of Dubuque, Bill Gartner (Birgit) of Carlisle, Steve Gartner (Carmen) of Clarksville, Greg Gartner (Carol) of Dubuque, Donna Dendy (Mike) of San Antonio and Diane Mueller (Bob) of Dubuque; and also Sonny Gartner. He was also cherished by numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
