He was predeceased by: his wife Carla Smith. He is survived by: his children, Jacob Smith (Libby Smith) and Jessica Phaup (Doug Phaup); his grandchildren, Stella Smith, Spencer Smith, Greer Smith, Oliver Phaup and Finley Phaup; and his brother David Smith (Shirley Smith).
