He was predeceased by: his parents, Wiley Luckett and Lucille Young Luckett; and his wife Jerrie Luckett. He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Taylor and Raschelle Simpson; his brother Wiley Luckett (Bud); and his grandchildren, Jerry Brandon Luckett, Joshua Simpson, Andrew Simpson, Erica Butler and Kayla Johnson. He is also survived by 13 great-grand children; as well as nieces, nephews, other friends and relatives.
