He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schenk and Lorena Gray Schenk; his son John Dale Schenk; and his siblings, J. C. Schenk Jr. and Evelyn Waters.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Schenk; his daughters, Linda Weatherford (Doug) of Dumas, Laura Lock (Todd) of Greenbrier and Leslie Doss (Ray) of Cabot; his grandchildren, Erin Creighton (Chance) of Little Rock, Paul Weatherford (Catie) of Del Mar, Emily Mahan (Jeffrey) of Damascus, Jessica Doss of Conway, Ross Weatherford (Blaze) of McGehee and Garrett Lock of Chidester; his great grandchildren, Tyler Creighton and Dalleigh Mahan; and his siblings, James Schenk (Martha) of Monticello and Kay Schenk of Hamburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many other friends and family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wilcox Family Funeral Home & Crematory (108 N Broadview St, Greenbrier, AR 72058). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Arkansas State Veteran Cemetery (1501 W Maryland Ave, North Little Rock, AR 72120).
