She was predeceased by: her parents, George Diego Smith and Beatrice Mae Ransom Smith; and her siblings, Bernard Chester Smith, MD, Hattie Alma Guerra, Alice Margene Smith and Dorland Lester Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Dwight Gene Matchett; her children, Bill Matchett (Nellie) of Conway, Jo Matchett and Jean Matchett (Kim Hillis) of Little Rock; her granddaughters, Christie Ann Matchett Hess (David), Amy Henderson (Brian) and Jessie Beal (Ryan Androff); her great grandchildren, Jacklyn Hess Brinkley (Dillon), Jackson Reno and Jordyn Hess; her great great grandchild Christine Mae Brinkley; and her sister Dorlene Mildred Falwell of Bradford, Arkansas.. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins.
Her life saw, the Great Depression, WWII, the Korean War, the Vietnam war, 9/11 and the Covid pandemic.
