He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett L. Springer and Kathryn Springer; and his siblings, Jane Hughes, Polly Satterfield, Mozelle Gunter and John Springer.
He is survived by: his sisters, Rosa Shirley and Virginia Ausbrooks; his wife Virginia Springer (Jones); and his children, Shelby Springer (Donna) of Greenbrier, Jimmy Springer, Roger Springer (Jami) of Conway and Brenda Hand (Rick) of Maumelle, Arkansas. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.
