He was predeceased by: his parents, Baxter Winston-Simpson-Maltbia and Gladys Winston-Simpson-Maltbia; and his siblings, Edward Simpson (EC), Melvin Maltbia of Chicago, Buford Maltbia of Springfield, Arkansas, Rozzi Simpson-Mosby of Detroit, Harriet Maltbia of Chicago, Lois Dean Simpson and Ottie Maltbia of Conway, Arkansas..

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Dianell McCray-Maltbia; his children, Larry Piggee of Conway, Curtis Agee of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Paula McCray of Little Rock and Jennifer McKee (Kyonil) of Conway, Arkansas; his siblings, V. Jean Smith, Vern Maltbia (Lorine) and Larry Maltbia of Conway, Arkansas; his sisters-in-law, Martha McCray-Hood of Holley Springs and Gladys Maltbia of Springfield, Arkansas; his cousin Marie Thomas of Kansas City, Missouri; his uncle Donald Wade Winston (Debra) of Sherwood; his aunts, Leoma Burns (Floyd) of Little Rock, Pat Credit of Mayflower, Alberta Winston and Joyce Stubbs (James) of Conway, Arkansas; and also Glen Winston (Eva) of Conway, Arkansas. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Veasley Funeral Home (1111 Harkrider St, Conway, AR 72032). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Christ Temple Holiness Church (868 Willow St, Conway, AR 72032).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Christ Temple Holiness Church Building Fund.
