He is survived by: his parents, Tom Mathis and Brenda Mathis; his wife Candice Mathis; his children, Emily Mathis, Matt Mathis (Caitlyn), Hailey Schmidt (Christopher), Justus Marcus (Ksenia), Ashlyn Marcus and Bryce Marcus; his grandchildren, Adeline and Christopher "Lex" Schmidt; and his brother Dusty Mathis (Jessica). He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews and many more friends and family.
