He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Halter and Teresa Rumker Halter; and his siblings, James Halter, Lawrence Halter, Anna Mae Halter, Louise Kuettel, Marie Breeden and Frances Nabholz.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Halter; his children, Joann Corning (David) of Conway, AR, Patricia Shock (Woody) of Conway, AR, Cynthia Gray of Conway, AR and Michael Halter (Laura) of Merritt Island, FL; his siblings, Ferdinand Halter of Conway, Elmer Halter of Waco, TX, Mary Schrekenhofer of Conway, Mildred Chichlowski of Whitman, MA. and Agnes Blaylock of Hot Springs, AR.; his grandsons, Sean Gray, Jeremy Gray, Ryan Gray, Heath Halter and Joshua Shock; and his nephew Brian Schrekenhofer. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and countless nieces, nephews and cousins.
