He is survived by: his mother Nellie Benton; his wife Lesia Crenshaw-Matthews; his children, Chris Matthews of Portland, Adrian Matthews of Atlanta, Georgia and Natasha Matthews-Thomas (Daryl) of Phoenix, Arizona; his stepdaughter LaShawnda Crenshaw-Macon of Conway, Arkansas; his grandsons, Brandon Matthews of Portland, JaMarion and JaMarcus Macon of Conway, Arkansas; and his siblings, Dwight Benton (Lavonn) of Hampton, Danny Matthews (Cheryl) of Smyrna, Delaware, Charlene Benton of Conway, Glennetta Greenlaw of Conway, Janice Brown of Conway and Tena Byrd of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by uncles, aun t s, nephews, nieces, co u s i ns and friends.
