It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Jarrett of Colt, Arkansas, born in Pontiac, Michigan, who passed away on October 2, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Ronald leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Jarrett and Dora Locke Jarrett; his brothers, Archie Lee Jarrett and Tommy Jarrett; his granddaughter Brigette Easter; and his former wife Catherine Jarrett.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Cheney Jarrett; his children, Lisa Jarrett of Harrisburg, Misty McGuire (James) of Harrisburg and Clay Melton of Wynne; and his sister Anna Teague of Jonesboro. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel (510 S Illinois Ave, Harrisburg, AR 72432). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
